This is just a post to get things kicked off in a similar way that tomorrow's meeting will. We are all in school to learn something new, gain experience, and someday make a buck or two using the skills we have acquired, and I believe the DMP Club will definitely be a great tool toward accomplishing that goal.
The first meeting will not be anything too fancy. We would be well served to get to know each other better, as well as the club function as a whole, and that is basically all that we have on the docket for that time. It will be fairly brief but very helpful and the more people who show up the better off we will all be as a club.
I might dig around the dollar store for some light snacks if I get the time today but don't be surprised if they're not the healthiest options around.
Anyway, I look forward to seeing/meeting you all tomorrow! Until then, have a grand Friday the 1st!

This is a fantastic little short that tons of good stuff can be learned from. I know that most of us are not planning to animate anything anytime soon, but the cinematography, story, sound, and lighting are all excellent examples of high-quality work that we should like to emulate. I hope you find this little short as amusing as I did, beyond it's excellent delivery of the technical "goods", so to speak.
