Greetings from the Tacoma club destination of Bluebeard Coffee Roasters. It is a beautiful sunny morning and today is shaping up to be quite spectacular by all human accounts. I expect this may be the beginning of many beautiful days to come.
As has often been the case I am the only one in attendance this morning. This is surely my fault as I neglected to get the location change email out before yesterday and I am sure any who would have liked to meet here simply did not have enough warning time to work things out so they could be here. I will definitely make a better concerted effort to inform everyone about the next meeting.
As this is the last weekend before finals, I also expect everybody is probably busy with all the madness that is "final push" weekend. I will simply leave y'all with a handy post I recently came across with some links to really great tutorial sites that are definitely worth taking a look at:

Good luck with your projects this weekend and I hope they all get a bunch of A's!

DMP Club - Meeting #4
The finals will soon be upon us this term and I know we all have a lot of work to do. Today was one of those busy weekend days for sure as I know several of the DMP students are out shooting projects based on the fact that there are no cameras left to be checked out. Good work!
So, today I will simply post a cool link to a tutorial that should help me with my final project and I hope it will help you all with something you need to work on in the future:
http://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/explosive_training/
If you have never been there before, VideoCopilot is one of the best resources for After Effects training, as well as a few other variously related programs, and it is definitely worth your time to browse through their tutorials just to see what kinds of things you can cook up on your own time!
Enjoy!
